Test your Shopify store speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO health and technical performance with a real Google Lighthouse audit. Find out exactly what is slowing down your ecommerce store, and get actionable recommendations to improve loading speed, user experience and conversions.
Unlike generic website speed tests, this audit understands how your store is built. It identifies whether performance issues come from your Shopify theme, installed apps, custom code, hosting setup or development decisions — then explains what needs to be fixed.
Improve your Shopify store performance, rank better on search engines, and create a faster buying experience for your customers.
Paste your store URL above and press the button. The tool runs a live Google Lighthouse audit — the same engine behind PageSpeed Insights — on a simulated mid-range phone or on desktop, which takes about 15–40 seconds. You get a performance score, your Core Web Vitals, your accessibility and SEO scores, and a ranked list of what is costing you the most time. No signup and no email.
For a live store running real apps, 55–75 on mobile with passing Core Web Vitals is a strong, realistic result. Scores above 90 on mobile are rarely achievable without stripping out apps the business depends on. Desktop scores run much higher and matter less: Google ranks on what real mobile visitors experience, not on the lab number.
Almost always third-party JavaScript first, and images second. Every app you install ships its own scripts, usually on every page rather than only where they are needed, and the browser has to parse and run all of it before the store becomes interactive. After that it is oversized hero images, render-blocking theme CSS, and fonts that block text from painting.
Yes — they are the single biggest drag on most Shopify stores. Each app adds scripts that load store-wide, and a dozen apps can add megabytes of JavaScript no theme change can undo. This audit labels every issue with who owns the fix, so you can see which problems a rebuild solves and which ones depend on removing or replacing an app.
The numbers are the same: it runs the same Lighthouse engine and reads the same Chrome UX Report field data. The difference is interpretation. It detects the commerce platform, front-end framework, CMS and hosting first, then explains each issue in terms of that stack and says plainly whether the fix belongs to your build, your apps, or your platform.
Yes, on any public URL. It identifies the stack before it says anything about it, and changes its wording to match: WooCommerce is told about plugins rather than apps, a self-hosted site is told its server response time is a hosting decision rather than the platform’s, and a headless front end is not offered advice about themes it does not have.
They are Google’s three page-experience metrics: LCP (how fast the main content appears), INP (how quickly the page responds when tapped) and CLS (how much the layout jumps while loading). Google measures them from real Chrome users over the last 28 days and uses them as a ranking signal, which is why a fix takes about four weeks to show up in the data.
Lab scores vary between runs — network conditions, server load and how quickly third-party scripts respond all move the number, so treat any single score as the middle of a range. The real-user Core Web Vitals are the stable measure. Results are cached for an hour per URL and device, so an immediate re-run returns the same audit rather than a fresh one.

A typical speed + CRO pass lifts conversion by around 0.6 points — the figures above model exactly that against your inputs. Real gains depend on the store.
